Auto123 dealer photos: inspect regional search and the gallery

Review Canadian Auto123 dealer listings through provincial search, checking actual-unit photographs, equipment evidence and the stock record after an update.

A buyer looking outside their immediate town may use photographs to decide whether a vehicle is worth a closer enquiry. For Canadian dealers listed on Auto123, review the regional search result and the actual gallery together.

A good overview identifies the unit; the details should help explain it before the buyer travels.

Use the live regional marketplace

Auto123’s Ontario dealer inventory provides province, location and vehicle search options. Use the live public marketplace for your own region when checking a listing.

This guide does not describe a development website or set a photo allowance. Confirm account requirements with the current publishing provider you actually use.

Follow the regional route

Find a recent stock unit through the province and city context a shopper would use. Confirm the dealer location, mileage and vehicle identity before judging the photograph.

If the result shows the wrong location or trim, investigate the inventory source. A better image will not correct an inaccurate stock record. Keep the intended publication set linked to the correct unit so the two can be reviewed together.

Answer distance-sensitive questions

A buyer comparing vehicles across towns needs clear evidence of interior condition and equipment. Photograph the seats, cargo space and useful controls, rather than adding more versions of the same exterior corner.

For a pickup, show the bed as well as the cabin. For a family vehicle, show the seating arrangement and access. Those choices should follow the actual car and its likely buying questions, not a fixed gallery count copied from another marketplace.

Keep small defects understandable

Show remaining wear with a close-up and a wider locating view. Avoid harsh shadows that make a mark impossible to assess. If the vehicle’s visible condition changes during reconditioning, replace the affected images and check the public listing afterwards.

The gallery can help a buyer decide what to ask next. It cannot establish mechanical condition or replace an inspection, so avoid suggesting that a clean presentation proves more than it shows.

Finish the publication check

Motuva Studio prepares exterior presentation images from your own photos. Keep originals, inspect the output against them and retain separately captured interior and condition views.

Upload the approved files through your normal workflow, then reopen the Auto123 result and gallery on a phone. No direct Motuva–Auto123 integration is implied. Record the unit and visible set you checked so a later discrepancy has a specific starting point.
