A vehicle can look current on one language version of a dealership website and outdated on the other. For Canadian teams using D2C Media, include both versions you actually publish in the photo review.
The aim is the same car and condition in each view, with readable local wording where you use it.
Start with the Canadian context
D2C Media describes services for Canadian dealerships and provides French product information. Those sources establish the local context; they do not prove that your particular website automatically synchronizes every caption or image update.
Check the language versions and publishing tools enabled for your dealership. The review below is a practical recommendation, rather than an account configuration guide.
Find the same stock unit twice
Open the vehicle in each language version using its stock reference. Compare the lead photograph, the interior and any condition details. A translated model name alone is not enough to prove you have selected the same unit.
After a visible repair or new photo upload, repeat this paired check. If one version retains the old image, identify the source and update route before uploading another set blindly.
Separate images from language
A clean photograph can often serve both presentations. Text burned into the file cannot change with the page language. Keep a clean approved set before adding campaign artwork in either language.
Where a caption describes equipment or a condition detail, make sure both versions carry the same meaning. “Heated seats” and a broad comfort label do not necessarily tell the shopper the same thing. Verify the actual equipment before resolving a wording mismatch.
Check mobile legibility independently
Read each version on a phone. French and English text can occupy different amounts of space, so an overlay that fits one version may crowd the other. Do not shrink important wording until it becomes unreadable simply to reuse the same layout.
Check any linked equipment or condition view as well. A correct caption attached to the wrong photograph remains a misleading handoff, whichever language it uses.
Keep a single approval record
Save the approved vehicle set with its stock reference, and note the page versions checked. This gives sales and photography a concrete record when a later gallery mismatch is reported.
Motuva Studio can prepare exterior presentation files. Compare them against originals and include your separately captured interiors and condition details. Upload through your usual process; no direct D2C Media integration or automatic translation is promised. The final review is of the two actual pages your customers can open.
