DealerCenter car photos: check the source first

Prepare US DealerCenter inventory photos before they feed a gallery or inventory video, with clear source ownership, image order and a shopper-view check.

An inventory photograph may become part of more than a still gallery. For a US dealership using DealerCenter, approve the source set before it is reused in another presentation.

That matters particularly when an old campaign image or the wrong stock unit enters a video assembled from the photographs.

Recognize the vendor’s media tools

DealerCenter’s FlickFusion page describes inventory videos generated from vehicle photographs. Check which tools your dealership has enabled and how they use the current photo set. Do not assume that DealerCenter is simply a passive destination for image files.

This guide covers the dealer’s source review. It does not promise that Motuva produces those videos or connects directly to the DealerCenter account.

Approve the set before reuse

Keep originals and an approved publication set under the stock reference. Check the photographed wheels, trim and interior against the actual inventory unit. A wrong photograph can be harder to notice once it appears briefly inside a moving presentation.

Remove expired promotional versions from the source set. If a campaign image still has a purpose elsewhere, store it separately with a clear destination. Avoid making the next operator distinguish near-identical versions from a thumbnail alone.

Review order and useful variety

Start with a clear exterior view, then choose images that explain different parts of the car. Repeating the same front corner several times can create a repetitive sequence as well as a weak gallery.

Keep interior and cargo views readable. Include condition photographs rather than allowing polished presentation shots to tell the whole story. A shopper should be able to inspect the actual unit, not just watch a collection of similar exterior angles.

Check the video separately

After the normal update, open the still gallery and any generated video available to shoppers. Verify that both use the right vehicle and current image set. Replacing a photo does not, by itself, prove that every downstream presentation has refreshed.

If a stale image remains, trace which source and update process that output uses. Record the correction against the stock unit so sales staff know which presentation has been checked.

Where Motuva fits

Motuva Studio prepares exterior studio images from your own photographs. Download the selected files, inspect them against the originals and add them through your existing upload process. Capture interiors and condition details separately.

The useful boundary is approval before distribution. DealerCenter’s enabled tools determine how the files are used afterwards. There is no direct integration, video-generation promise, marketplace certification or numerical sales claim in this workflow.
