Change email or password

Both are on the Account page, in the Sign-in & security card. Each one needs your current password.

Change your sign-in address

1. Go to Account > Sign-in & security and select Change beside Sign-in address.
2. Enter your new address and your current password.
3. Select Send code. We email a 6-digit code to the new address.
4. Enter the code and select Confirm change.

Nothing changes until you enter the code, and you stay signed in. Invoices go to your sign-in address, so they move with it — set a billing email on your profile first if you would rather they did not.

Change your password

1. Go to Account > Sign-in & security and select Change beside Password.
2. Enter your current password.
3. Enter your new password, then enter it again to confirm.
4. Select Change password.

This signs you out on every device, including the one you are using. Sign in again with your new password.

Password requirements

At least 8 characters. Nothing else is restricted — longer is better.

Forgot your current password?

Both changes need it. If you do not have it, reset it first — see Reset password.
