You own your images
The images you generate using Motuva belong to you. Motuva does not claim ownership of them and does not license them back to you. We may use them in Motuva's own marketing — on our website and social media, for example. This is set out under Your content in the Terms of Service.
Your source photos
The car photos you upload are used to generate your images. We also use uploaded photos, and anonymised data derived from them, to train and improve our own AI engines and to develop new features.
We do not sell individual identifiable photos. Anything used for training, research or third-party licensing is anonymised: it carries no dealership branding and nothing that identifies you, your staff or your customers. Anonymised, aggregated datasets built that way may be licensed to third parties — automotive data partners or valuation models, for example.
The full position is under Photos and images in the Privacy Notice, and the licence you grant when you upload is under Your content in the Terms of Service.
How your images are stored
Your finished images stay in your account with no time limit, and you can view and download them again at any time. Deleting your account does not delete your images: your photos, the adverts made from them, your studios and your renders stay in our storage, with your dealership's details taken off them. We do not delete them afterwards. If you want them removed, ask us before you delete the account — see Delete account.
Account data
The account information you provide — email address, dealership name — is used to operate your account and, if you contact us, to respond to you. It's not sold to third parties.
Payment data
Card details are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Motuva stores a payment reference but not your full card details.
Your full privacy policy
The complete and legally accurate statement of how Motuva handles your data is in our Privacy Notice. This article is a plain-English summary — the Privacy Notice is the binding document.
