Re-generate an image

How to run the AI again on the same car photo, and what to expect from a second pass.

If you're not happy with an image — or you just want to see a different result from the same photo — you can re-generate it.

How to re-generate

  1. Open the image from your dashboard or image history.
  2. Select Regenerate.
  3. A new image is produced from the same source photo and the same studio.

The new image is saved alongside the original. You can compare them and keep whichever you prefer.

Does re-generating use my allowance?

Yes. Every image you generate — including a re-generated one — counts as one from your monthly allowance.

Will the result be different?

Usually, yes. Generative AI produces results that have some natural variability — each pass interprets the scene slightly differently. In practice this means re-generating often produces a noticeably different result, which can be better or worse than the first.

If the first image had a specific problem — a plate that looked off, a reflection that didn't sit right — re-generating is the right first step. See My image doesn't look right — what to do for more options if re-generating doesn't resolve it.

Generating the same car with a different studio

Regenerating reuses the same studio. To put the same car against a different background, change your active studio first: open the studio library, pick the studio you want and set it as active, then start a fresh advert with the same source photo. The new run uses your newly selected studio. It counts as a new image against your allowance.
