How to upload

  1. From the dashboard, select New image.
  2. Either drag your photo directly onto the upload area, or select Choose file to browse your device.
  3. The upload begins immediately. Wait for the progress bar to complete before selecting a studio.

Accepted formats

  • JPEG / JPG
  • PNG
  • HEIC (photos taken on iPhone and most modern Android devices)
  • WebP

File size

The maximum file size is 20MB. Most phone photos are well under this. If your file is larger, compress it slightly before uploading — the AI doesn't require maximum resolution, and very large files slow processing without improving the result.

Taking the photo yourself

Studio photos you take yourself work well. A few things that make a difference:

  • Shoot in daylight or good artificial light. Poor light means the AI has less detail to work from.
  • Get the whole car in frame. Partial shots — where the bonnet or boot is cut off — reduce the quality of the result.
  • Try a front three-quarter angle. This is the most common listing angle and Studio is optimised for it.
