Cover or show the licence plate on one photo

Each photo has its own Plate cover setting: Covered shows your branded plate cover, Visible shows the real registration. How to change it, and when you can't.

Each photo has its own Plate cover setting under Image settings. Covered shows your branded plate cover; Visible shows the real registration.

How to change it

  1. Go to Adverts and open the advert.
  2. Select the photo.
  3. Under Image settings, set Plate cover to Visible or Covered.

The photo is made again with the change, which can take a moment. It doesn't use any of your monthly images.

If there's no Plate cover setting

  • Plate cover only appears when plate covers are on and a plate was found in the photo. Turn on Plate covers under Licence Plates, where you also add Your logo.
  • Covers are added to new adverts as they're created. The setting on a photo is for the exceptions.

When a change is refused

  • There's a daily limit on plate changes. If you reach it, the screen tells you when you can change them again.
  • Older adverts can't be changed. The screen says: “This advert was made before per-photo plate settings existed, so they can’t be changed on it.”

In the Motuva app

The advert screen has the same Plate cover setting.
