Your background is your studio or scene. Every advert is made in your active one, marked Active under Studios, and you can change it before any advert you create.
How to change it
- Select Studios in the sidebar.
- In My Studios, select the studio or scene you want. It becomes your active one straight away.
To use a ready-made studio or scene you haven't saved yet, open Library, select it, then Save to studios. See Use the studio library (Free).
You can also start from the Dashboard: select Studio, then My Studios.
What to consider
- Contrast: light cars stand out against darker walls and floors, and dark cars against light ones.
- Consistency: one or two studios across your stock give your listings a consistent look.
- Your logo: a studio with a back wall can carry it, and so can every scene except Open Scenery.
Good to know
- Changing your studio or scene doesn't change adverts you've already made.
- Choosing and saving studios and scenes doesn't use any of your monthly images. Only the photos in an advert do.
- On Pro and Ultra you can also build your own studio or scene and save it: see Build your own studio.
In the Motuva app
Open Scenes, then My Studio, and use Set as active.
