Switching to Motuva doesn't affect your existing listing images. Here's what you need to know.
Your current listing images stay live
Images already uploaded to AutoTrader, Motors.co.uk or your other platforms aren't touched when you switch to Motuva. They stay live until you replace them.
You choose when to update each listing
There's no requirement to replace all your images at once. The most practical approach:
- When a car sells and a new one comes in, take it straight through Motuva.
- For existing stock, update listings as they're refreshed or when images need renewing.
Many dealers use the point of a price drop or a stock refresh as a natural moment to update images too.
Images in your previous platform
Images stored in your previous imaging platform stay there unless you download them first. If you have an archive of output images you want to keep, download them before you cancel your existing subscription.
Motuva doesn't import images from other platforms. Your Motuva image library starts fresh.
Your listing platform accounts are unaffected
Motuva is an imaging tool, not a listing platform or DMS. Switching your imaging tool doesn't change your account with AutoTrader, Motors.co.uk or any other platform you list on. You upload new Motuva images the same way you've always uploaded images.
