Upload failed

What to do when your car photo fails to upload to Motuva Studio.

If your car photo fails to upload, here's what to check.

Check the file format

Motuva accepts JPEG, PNG, HEIC and WebP files. If your file is a different format — for example a RAW file from a DSLR or a TIFF — convert it to JPEG before uploading.

Check the file size

The maximum file size is 20MB. If your photo is larger, compress it before uploading. Most phone photos are well under 20MB, but burst-mode shots, RAW exports and edited files can occasionally exceed this.

Check your internet connection

Upload failures often come from a dropped or slow connection. Check you're connected, then try again. A stable Wi-Fi connection handles uploads better than a mobile data connection in areas of poor coverage.

Try a different browser or device

If the upload consistently fails in one browser, try another. The same applies if uploading from a desktop — try from your phone, or vice versa.

Clear the file and try again

Occasionally a partially started upload gets stuck. Refresh the page, clear the current upload if one is showing, and start the upload again from scratch.

If it still fails

Contact us and tell us:

  • The file format and approximate size of the photo.
  • The browser and device you're using.
  • Whether you see an error message — and what it says.

We'll investigate and get back to you.
