Finance, Highlights and Dealership banners: the difference

What each of the three banners shows, which styles each one can use, and how to choose the one a new banner opens on.

A banner is one of three kinds, each on its own tab: Finance for your finance offer, Highlights for the car, and Dealership for your business. A photo carries one banner at a time.

  • Finance: your monthly payment, deposit and APR, with a kicker, a button and small print. Styles: Corner, Bar or Fade.
  • Highlights: the vehicle banner. The model, the variant and up to two highlights from a list, such as “Full service history” or “One owner on record”. Styles: Bar or Fade.
  • Dealership: your dealer name, strapline, phone and website. Styles: Bar or Fade.

Highlights are picked rather than typed, so they're spelt the same on every advert, and the list depends on your account's country. Your dealership details are copied from your profile the first time you make a banner; changing them in a banner changes your banners only, not your profile.

Which tab a new banner opens on

A new banner opens on your Default banner. To choose it:

  1. Go to Account > Banner.
  2. Under Default banner, choose Finance, Highlights or Dealership.

In the Motuva app, it's Account > Banner defaults. You can switch tabs in any banner, but only the tab that's open when you select Apply banner is saved.

Different banners on different photos

A photo can't show two banners at once. To show finance on one photo and highlights on another, give each photo its own banner.
