The same photo in the same studio always comes out the same, so there's no button to try again. To get a different result, change what goes in: the photo, the studio or the plate setting.
Start with the photo
Studio keeps the car exactly as you photographed it, so most results that aren't right trace back to the photo. See Will the result look fake — can I trust it?.
- Dim or coloured light stays with the car. Shoot in even daylight.
- The reflections in the paint come from where you took the photo. Shoot in an open space, away from buildings and other cars.
- Anything touching or in front of the car is treated as part of it. Shoot the car on its own.
- For the car on the turntable, get the whole car in the frame. A close crop, such as a wheel, is placed on your studio's or scene's background instead.
Then create the advert again with the new photo. See Photo requirements for a good source image.
Try a different studio
- Change your active studio under Studios. See Choose a background.
- Create the advert again with the same photos. See Create an advert.
That's a new advert, so each photo uses one image from your monthly allowance.
If only the plate is wrong
Change that photo's Plate cover under Image settings. The photo is made again without using any of your monthly images. See Cover or show the licence plate on one photo.
The plate cover row only appears when you use plate covers and Studio found a plate in that photo. An interior or a close-up usually has none.
If an advert didn't finish
Open it and select Try again. A retry doesn't use any of your monthly images.
A photo with no car in it is refused rather than made, and it uses none of your monthly images. Trying it again won't help: upload a photo of the car instead. See Still processing.
Specific issues
The colour looks different
Studio doesn't change the car's colour: the paint is the one in your photo. A car shot in coloured light, such as a sunset or warm showroom lights, keeps that colour. Retake it in even daylight, or try a studio whose light suits the car.
The paintwork shows the old surroundings
The reflections are part of your photo, so they stay. Retake it in an open space, away from buildings and other cars.
A close-up isn't on the turntable
A close crop, such as a wheel or a badge, is placed on your studio's or scene's background rather than on the turntable. For the whole car on the turntable, photograph the whole car.
An interior has white windows
That's how interiors work: the cabin is kept, and the view through the windows turns white.
The background isn't the studio you expected
Every advert is made in your active studio or scene. Check which one it is on the Studio card on the Dashboard. To use another, change it and create the advert again.
